Gond painting is one of the traditional art forms of the Patangarh village in Madhya Pradesh. This art form is unique unto itself owing to its use of different drawing patterns. A rodent's tail shaped like a tree, home to birds and other animals, this Gond painting shows the artist's creative and imaginative abilities. There are two dominant drawing patterns in the picture: dashes and strokes. Additionally, the artist painted this piece on a hand-made sheet of paper, which further enhances its uniqueness.
